| Drug manufacturers have a duty to sell drugs and medical devices that are reasonably safe and must warn consumers of any known side effects. You may have a claim against a drug manufacturer if you have suffered illness or injury as a result of using a drug or medical device. Drugs have to be approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before being sold to consumers. The majority of toy-related choking deaths are caused by small balls and latex balloons. | Agent Orange was the code name for a herbicide used by the United States military during the Vietnam War. Agent Orange was used to defoliate trees and bushes to reduce cover for enemy forces. Almost 20 million gallons of Agent Orange were sprayed over the South Vietnam countryside during the war. Several hundred thousand soldiers were exposed to Agent Orange, which contained a toxic by-product known as dioxin.
